He was born on May 15, 1929 in El Bajio de San Jose, Jalisco to Agustin and Mercedes Muñoz Romo.
In 1956, he married Juanita Raquel Ramirez at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Santa Paula, CA. They shared 67 years of marriage living in Santa Paula.
Agustin worked at Lindooley Ranch in Santa Paula until 1969. He then became a member of Local 585 and worked in construction until 1991 when he retired. He also enjoyed going to garage sales and swap meets.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Raquel Romo; siblings, Concepcion Romo Muñoz and Maria Mercedes Magdaleno (Salvador); daughters, Letty Lomeli (Adolfo Arriaza), Christina Cervantes (Jose), Connie Jaimes (Fernando), and Betty Gonzalez (Carlos); 11 grandchildren, Sonia Baez (Eledy), Sylvia Gaeta (Reggie), David Lomeli (Nancy), Anthony Lomeli (Vanessa), Matthew Gonzalez (Marisela), Michael Gonzalez, Julissa Gonzalez, Fernando Jaimes Jr, Jessica Jaimes, Marissa Rodriguez (Pedro), and Christopher Cervantes; as well as 27 great grandchildren, Nayeli and Aliya Baez, Kiana Veronica, Sophia Gaeta, Dominic, Cali, and Vincent Lomeli; Leanna, Ethan, and Joseph Lomeli; Matthew Gonzalez Jr and Baby Gonzalez, Daisy Martinez, Lily Rodriguez, Kortez and Karissma Dominguez, Benji Estrada, Daniela Jaimes, Malia and Makayla Cervantes, Steven and Carissa Carrillo; Jonathan, Angelina, Angelo, Sebastian, and Genevieve Rodriguez.
