Elisa was preceded in death by her parents and many siblings gone before her, her two daughters Julia and Deedee; three grandchildren, Dolores, Christine, and Timothy.
She is survived by her four brothers Sonny, Beto, Alfred, and Art along with four sisters Stella, Lupe, Eloisa, and Helen, her children Louie (Alice) Galvan, Linda (Louis) Rivera, Sal (Michelle) Gonzalez, Laurie (Robert) Marquez, Robert (Rosa) Gonzalez, Margaret Gonzalez, Rosemary (Isaac) Prado; 28 grandchildren, 69 great-gandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
She was born April 4, 1929, in Los Angeles, California. She spent her youth in various schools in Los Angeles before settling in Santa Paula, California. She was a life long employee of Twin Pines Healthcare in Santa Paula where she eventually retired. She was very passionate of her patients she provided care for and always treated them with the utmost care. She would often purchase items on her own for some, which she stated had nothing in their closet.
One of her true passions and hobbies was quilting blankets by hand for anyone who asked, especially for family.
She enjoyed family trips to Las Vegas, especially Laughlin. She was a big fan of Little Joe y La Familia and the Texas Tornados and enjoyed dancing at family parties.
She had a strong faith in God and was a kind spirited person who enjoyed making friends and being around her family.
A funeral mass will be held on August 20, 2025 at 10am at Saint Sebastian Catholic Church at 235 N 9th St in Santa Paula. An informal reception will follow at 2pm at Casa Del Mexicano, 218 S 11th St in Santa Paula.
