As we announce the passing of our beloved father, Donald Edward Lane, we celebrate his life. Dad was born, raised and attended schools in San Francisco and San Mateo. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal as a veteran of the Korean War. A businessman in air cargo logistics, he loved his motor home, camping and fishing. He was predeceased by his wife Eileen Lane and is survived by his sons Clifford (Margaret), Ken (Bernadette), Ron (Betsye). He will be missed by his loving grandchildren Sarah (Luis) Ribagorda, Micah (Christin) Lane, Nathan Lane and their mother Melinda Lane, Amie Lane and Alexandria Pender. Additionally, he will be mourned by his former wife Patti (John) Faires, brothes-in-law Tim Martin, Steve (Noreen) Martin, sister-in-law Judy (Ron) Williams and many friends he made in his life's journeys. We'd like to give a special thank you to Landa Keen and her staff at Above and Beyond Elder Care for the loving attention they gave our father. A viewing will be held December 12th from noon - 1 p.m., visiting from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., followed with a celebration of his life at 2 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes, 2601 Santa Rosa Ave. Santa Rosa.
