

Aaron David Singley, age 82, of Axis, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Aaron was born September 13, 1938 in Gilbertown, AL to Irks and Josephine Singley. He graduated from Southern Choctaw High School. He later moved to Axis, Alabama where he resided for 55 years. He retired from International Paper Mill where he worked for 40 years as a paper machine supervisor. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, riding on his tractor, tinkering in his shop, watching Crimson Tide football, the Atlanta Braves baseball and spending time with family.
He will be deeply missed by many relatives and friends. Aaron is survived by daughter, Connie Singley; son, Rick Singley; brothers, Jimmy (Bobbie) Singley, Arnold (Ruby) Singley; sister, Betty (Gerry) McBride; grandchildren, Blake (Lacey) Singley, Courtney (Davin) Tucker, Ashton Singley, Peyton Singley and Logan Singley; great-grandchildren, Willa Singley, Vanna Singley, Vivi Singley, and Chase Tucker.
Aaron was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Singley; son, Michael Singley; Father Irks Singley; mother, Josephine Singley; brothers, James Singley and Robert Singley.
A visitation for Aaron will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home at 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, AL 36571 with interment to follow at Creola Cemetery in Creola, AL.
