Allison Givens Swinney

Mrs. Allison Givens Swinney, age 49, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017. She is preceded in death by her sons, Joshua and Zachary Swinney and mother-in-law, Betty Swinney. She worked as a Registered Nurse at USA Women’s and Children for ten years. She was a graduate of University of South Alabama and a member of Destination Church. Allison is survived by her husband, Artie Swinney and children; Weston, Bradley, Alyssa and Ashlyn Swinney, step-sons, Mitchell and Matthew Swinney. She is also survived by her mother, Therese Tarver (Eugene), father, Larry Givens, Sr. (Leigh), grandmother, Therese “Tiny McGill Raynor, sister, Melinda Johnston (Mike), brother, Larry Givens, Jr. (A.J.), father-in-law, Art Swinney, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
