Mrs. Beatrice Howard— a 45 year resident of Saraland, AL. passed away Tuesday, April, 1, 2014. Mrs. Howard was born June 29, 1925, in Franklin County, AL. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother and a faithful member of the Central Church of Christ. Mrs. Howard served many families in the community by providing child care in her home for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edwin Howard. She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline James and Martha Baker and 2 granddaughters, Lauren James and Julia James all of Saraland. She was dearly loved and cherished by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held 2:30 P.M. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Central Church of Christ, 225 Saraland Blvd. S., Saraland, AL. 36571 with Minister Jimmy Holland officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the church. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
