Betty Joyce Goff

Betty Joyce Goff passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on March 10, 1932 and was a resident of Chickasaw, Alabama. She was a life-long wife and mother whose greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life and her husband of sixty years, Kenneth "Punchy" Goff and her parents, Jewel Chastain and Willard DeGroat.

She will be missed by her daughter, Deborah Goff; her son, David Goff; four grandchildren, Mandy Goff Giesmann (Luke), Lindsey Grimes Cunningham, Joshua Goff and Lauren Grimes Rogillio (Chris); seven great grandchildren, Ethan and Connor Lowrey, Presli and Lyla Giesmann, Cooper Cunningham and Lincoln and Trenton Rogillio; a sister, Jessica Hayes (David) and one brother, Joseph Chastain (Kathy).

The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to Melissa Brooks, Rachel Helton and Margaret Flowers of Comfort Care Hospice and Vickie Lee for Betty's care and their support of the Goff Family.

The family request that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association at act.alz.org/donate.
