Blakely Elizabeth “Blake Blake” Patterson, age 3, of Satsuma, Alabama, passed away on November 28, 2025. She was born on April 18, 2022, and in her short but radiant life, she touched every heart she met with her bright smile, sparkling blue eyes, and joyful spirit.
Blakely was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth Patterson and the cherished sister of Brysen Herring and Baylen Patterson, whom she adored and proudly claimed as “her babies.” She was the treasured granddaughter of Tracy and Sharron Patterson, and her Poppa held a special place in her heart—Blakely had him wrapped around her little finger from the very beginning. She is also survived by her uncle Jamie (Kristen) Patterson and cousins JJ and Kinleigh, all of whom loved her deeply.
Known for her beautiful grin—what her mom lovingly called “a mouth full of teeth”—Blakely lit up every room she entered. Her happiness and energy shined through even on her hardest days, and her strength never dimmed. Despite being so sick, she remained a true ray of sunshine, full of life, laughter, and determination.
Blakely loved the outdoors—getting dirty, splashing in the pool, and riding the side-by-side brought her endless joy. She also enjoyed every one of her road trips north, where she loved spending time with her extended family, especially her cousins Raya and Gaines.
At just two years old, Blakely found her passion for dance at Robinson’s School of Dance, where Mrs. Kelly took a chance on her. From that moment on, Blakely absolutely adored her teacher and loved every minute she spent dancing.
During her time in the hospital, Blakely made friends everywhere she went. In her eyes, every nurse and visitor was simply another friend to play with. Grace from Child Life always brought her toys, and Blakely’s face lit up with excitement each time. She also mastered FaceTime quickly—calling family members constantly, even if they were at work. “Girlfriend didn’t care,” and that bold, loving personality was one of the many things that made her unforgettable.
Blakely’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, joy, and the purest light. She will be forever missed and endlessly loved by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
