Capsie Courtney Sr.

Mr. Courtney was a retired foreman for Victor Sign Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting and fishing. He was a good father who loved his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Exa Courtney, three sons, Capsie Courtney, Jr., John W. Jones and James Noble Courtney; parents, Wash and Pearlie Courtney.

Surviving are his four daughters, Pearlie Phillips, Marie (Doug) Brooks, Mary (Jerry) Wright, Frances (Tim) Douglas and three sons, Jerry (Kate) Courtney, Donald (Janet) Courtney and Marion Courtney; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives, family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Fountain of Life Church, Saraland, AL., from 12:00 p.m. till service time at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens
