Carolyn Spears Daniel, of Saraland, entered into rest Saturday, December 5, 2015 in Birmingham, AL. She was 79. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bayou Sara Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dennis Dunn will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Daniel is known in the Saraland area as the former owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics, as well as running a real estate and insurance business with her husband, the late William Harold Daniel.
She is survived by three children, William Bart (Tammy) Daniel of Satsuma, Connie Daniel (Michael T.) Johnson of Birmingham, and Leigh Ann (Brian) Patterson of Hoover, a sister, Donna (Bobby) Payne of Mobile, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
