David E. Poole

David E. Poole – an 83 year-old native of Yarbo, Alabama and longtime resident of Chickasaw passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as an aircraft mechanic. Mr. Poole retired from Penske Truck Lines after many years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David A. and Drula Carpenter Poole. Mr. Poole is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Marion S. Poole; children, Tony Poole, David Glen Poole (Tammy), Darrel Poole (Lydia); grandchildren, Matthew Poole (Dawn), Dustin Poole, Ryan Easterling (Don), John Moody, Brian Poole, Breanna Poole, Harrison Poole, Rachel Poole; great-grandson, Carter Easterling; siblings, Juanita Hodges, Betty Saranthus, Troy Poole (Judy), Hilda Faye Tucker (Henry), Gerald Poole (Linda), Larry Poole (Terri), Sandra Mallette, Terry Poole (Jan), and Randy Poole (Kanchana); other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland from 5-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 25, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort at 12:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
