David Justice Reeves - age 88, a native of Clarke County, AL and a longtime resident of Eight Mile, AL died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in a local health care facility. He was a longtime member of Victory Assembly of God Church in Eight Mile. Mr. Reeves worked for Haas-Davis Packing Company. He later went to work for Hinton Beef and then Winn Dixie until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Pate Reeves; parents, Mason and Ollie Reeves of Frankville, AL; sister, Dixie Reeves Forsum; and brother, Louie N. Reeves. Survivors include his daughter, Jeannie Reeves McCurry, Eight Mile, AL; one brother, Charles M. (Annette) Reeves, Millry, AL; three sisters, Eunice (Harold) Starnes, Pattison, MS, Faye (Lee) Stokes, Jonesborough, TN and Jeannette (Don) Moorer, Frankville, AL; sister-in-law, Clara Reeves, Chickasaw, AL; nieces, nephews and many loved ones. Funeral services will be Friday, March 11, 2011, at 10: 00 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
