DeLana Ann Parker Bush also known as “Mama”, “Mee-maw”, and “Maw-maw”, age 73, entered the gates of Heaven to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022. DeLana was born on March 3, 1949 in Enterprise, Alabama. She loved spending time with family and friends, and also enjoyed bream fishing, shelling peas, and sitting in her favorite rocking chair with her dog, Sadie, in her lap. DeLana was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking excellent meals for her family over the years. She especially loved cooking her family’s favorite cornbread dressing during the holidays. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
DeLana was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Mary Alice Parker, her sister Terri Lynn Parker, and grandson Jarrod Keith Bush.
DeLana leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of fifty-one years, James “Jimmy” Bush, two sons Keith (Angie) Bush and Grant (Olivia) Bush, two daughters Melinda (Jimmy) Hall and Megan (Josh) Johnson, grandchildren; Bailee (Ryan) Stevens, Joseph Bush, Jackson Bush, Taylor Hope Bush, Hannah Hall, Hunter Hall, Hayley Hall, Caleb (Hannah) Bush, Emily Johnson, Bryson Johnson, Luke Johnson, Nickie Hall, and Caleb (JoDee) Hall, great-granddaughter; Palmer James Stevens, cousins, and other relatives. DeLana also leaves to cherish her memory two lifelong friends that she loved dearly and considered family, Mrs. Kathy Elmore and Mrs. Sharon Brown.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Hall, Josh Johnson, Joseph Bush, Caleb Bush, Hunter Hall, and Jackson Bush
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. Gary Shockley, Pastor of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church, will be officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saraland, Alabama.
