Evelyn Marie Kilpatrick

Evelyn Marie Kilpatrick- beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, a 78 year-old native of Thomasville, GA and resident of Saraland, AL passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014. She was a longtime active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She was also a volunteer poll worker and a member of the Saraland Y.M.C.A. She will always be remembered by those who knew her simply as an angel.

Mrs. Kilpatrick was preceded in death by her son, Buster Kilpatrick; sisters, Jo Ann Hiter, Lottie Mae Smith, and Connie Haines; and brother, Jackie Dean Karr. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Jack H. Kilpatrick; children, Jack C. Kilpatrick (Toni), Scott Kilpatrick, Donna M. Knight (Todd), John F. Kilpatrick (Laurie), and Bess Banks (Tommy); sister, Dolly Kyser (James); grandchildren, Brittany Kilpatrick, Regan Everett, Brenna Kilpatrick, Jack C. Kilpatrick, Jr., Tyler Bray, Colin Bray, Mary Todd Knight, Jonathon Knight, Owen Kilpatrick, Henry Kilpatrick, Kate Frances Kilpatrick, Callie Banks, Abigail Banks, and Madalyne Banks; great-grandsons, Tyson Kilpatrick and Noah Kilpatrick; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church on Monday, May 5, 2014, at 12 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour with Rosary to be recited at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery.
