Radney Funeral Home – Saraland

Gary L. Gormandy, native of Chickasaw, Al, resident of Saraland for the past 30 years, past away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lionel and Bernice Gormandy.

Gary retired as Vice-President of Whistler Machine Works. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working at his hunting camp with his friends, family and grandchildren.

Gary is survived by his wife Deb Gormandy, son, Michael Gormandy (Heather), daughter, Rachael Gormandy, brother, John Gormandy (Cathy) and sister Mary White (Steve) He is also survived by his four grandsons, Zachary Thornton, Caleb Lucas, Nathan Robinson and Collin Robinson, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family would like to express their special thanks to Becky Skanes and the staff of Southern Care Hospice.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until service time of 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
