Glenn Elliott Merrill

Master Sgt. (Rtd.) Glenn Elliott Merrill, native of Paducah, KY and longtime resident of Saraland, AL, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the age of 65. He is preceded in death by his mother, Pearla Merrill. Mr. Merrill served his country honorably in the United States Army as a Topographic Engineer for 22 years. Glenn graduated from Davidson High School, Class of ’71 and attended the University of South Alabama prior to entering the Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Linn Humlevik Merrill, his father, Glenn H. Merrill and his children; Jennifer Wade (Anthony), Nathanael Merrill (Joy), Christopher Merrill and Michael Merrill. He is also survived by his two brothers, Randall (Mary) and Lee Merrill, his grandchildren; Dominique, Leila Grace, Kylie Jayde and former wife, and mother of his children, Patrice Merrill. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 in the funeral home chapel beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, with full military honors.
