Helen is survived by her children, Marvin Martin, Jr. (Jerri), Beverly Bradford (Richard), Brenda York, and Terry Martin (Karen); daughter-in-law, Donna Martin; sisters, Susie Kostelecky and Mary Herzog; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Martin; son, David Martin; son-in-law, Bill York; father, William Hummer; mother, Sara Elsie Montgomery Hummer; and great-grandsons, Allen Richardson and Anders Richardson.
A graveside service for Helen will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Valhalla Cemetery, 8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, Alabama 36613 followed by interment. Rev. Robert Andrews will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers are Allen Richardson, Aaron Paulk, Terry Martin, Jr., Paul Gaudet, Wes Cockrell, and Michael Martin.
