With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Louise Moore Therrell. “Jackie” died Thursday, March 3, 2022, with her family by her side in Mobile, Alabama. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama on July 12th, 1948, to her parents, Freddie and Lollie Moore. She grew up in Mobile, Alabama and graduated from Vigor High School. Soon after graduation, Jackie met her beloved husband, John Wade Therrell Jr. They were soon married and built a beautiful marriage that lasted over 50 years. Jackie was the beloved mother of Renee Clarke, Shellie Pittman (Chad), and John Wade Therrell, III (Mandy). She was also the proud grandmother of Cassie Hoeft (Ricky), Amber Montgomery (Jonathan), Abbie Pittman, Brady Clarke, Bella Pittman, Avery Therrell, Christopher Pittman, Adair Therrell, and Davis Pittman as well as three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lollie Lambeth and Freddie Moore, and her sister, Wanda Cain. She also leaves behind two sisters, Diane Gillespie and Elaine Dearman.
She lived a full life as a wonderful wife, mother, and dedicated grandmother. She loved Jesus, gardening, and sewing anything and everything for her family. She showed her love by spending time with her loved ones and throwing family get-togethers.
Most of all, she loved her family and friends and instilled good, Christian values in her children and grandchildren that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
A visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama on Monday, March 7th, 2022 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Graveside services and interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
