Jacqueline Meitzler Pully (Withers)

Jacqueline Meitzler Pully (Withers) - a 94 year-old native of New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of Chunchula passed away at her home on Friday, October 26, 2024. She worked as a registered nurse of Dr. Howard J. Reubenstein for many years. A lifelong devoted Christian, she was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Withers was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Arthur W. Pully, Sr.; siblings, Lois Williams, Eva Shoaf, J.C. Meitzler, Ralph Meitzler, and Paul Meitzler; and sons-in-law, Alfred Green and George Knapp. She is survived by her children, Glenda Green, George L. Pully (Debbie), Carmen Knapp, and Arthur W. Pully, Jr. (Dena); grandchildren, Chris Green, Doug Green, George Pully, Bill Pully, and Brian Pully; Junior Knapp, Missy Knapp Bhatti, Rhea Pully Applegate, and Art Pully; sister, Patricia Bonner; great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Howard J. Rubenstein and the staff of Saad Healthcare for all of their care and support.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
