

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry J. Kominek Jr. and Peggy Kominek, and his sister, Madaline Kominek.
Jerome was a 1982 graduate of Satsuma High School and worked as an electrician for nearly 40 years, spending 35 of those years as a master electrician. He worked at his family’s businesses, Kominek Electric and Power Incorporated, before becoming self-employed.
An avid outdoorsman, Jerome loved hunting and fishing, making countless memories in the woods and on the water. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others. Above all, he was proud of raising his son, Joshua, and instilling in him the values of hard work and dedication.
He is survived by his son, Joshua (Haley) Kominek, and his sister, Martha (Mike) Lomax. He also leaves behind his nephews, Gordon (B.J.) Kominek, Michael (Andrea) Lomax, and Matthew (Emily) Lomax, along with great-nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, many lifelong friends, and his Bear Creek Hunting Club family.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama, on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Satsuma Cemetery, Satsuma, Alabama.
