John Wayne Lacy Jr.

John Wayne Lacy, Jr. – a 47 year-old native of Jackson, Alabama and resident of Semmes passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Mr. Lacy was formerly employed with Austal Shipbuilding and Mitternight Boiler Works and was currently employed at Myer Marine as a fitter/fabricator.

Mr. Lacy leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Christy Ann Lacy; sons, Brandon Tyler Lacy and Braden Lane Lacy (Niki); step-children, Ashley Poiroux (Trevor), Heather Hyde (Josh), James Mulkey, and Christian Marshall; five grandchildren, Liam Hayes, Lanely Grace Lacy, Beau Poiroux, Boone Poiroux, and Noah Hyde; brother, Robert Ray Strickland, II; mother and step-father, Bobbie Jean and Michael Jason Harris; father, John Wayne Lacy, Sr.; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Lacy; step-father, Robert Ray Strickland; and grandparents, Lottie Leona Neese, Homer Kenneth Richardson, Newburn C. Lacy, Sr. and Frances Lacy.

Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Tibbie at 1 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
