10 Grand Children, 20 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Jackson Reynolds and Roxie Mae Reynolds (Dees), Sister Margie Mae Reynolds, Sister Ruth Reynolds Elmore, wife Rose Marie Reynolds (Carpenter) and son John Clayton Reynolds Jr.
He and his wife, Rose Marie Reynolds were married for 51 years. He was a retired electrician from Ciba Geigy. He was also Pastor at Ambassadors for Christ Church in Fairford, Alabama. He taught school at Northway Christian Academy in Semmes, Alabama for many years. He loved flowers, gardening, laughing, telling jokes, walking, and the beach. One of his favorite things to do was walk and talk with God. You could find him most days for many years walking for miles a day. He loved his family, he loved people, he loved unconditionally. He would often call with the joke of the day only to be reminded that it was a good thing he made a living at being an electrician not a comedian! By far his greatest passion was helping others to know his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Not many conversations were held that he did not share about Jesus. In his last days one of his biggest concerns was that God must still have a purpose for him and him wanting to fulfill his purpose.
You have finished your race! You will be greatly missed!
