Judy Barton Nolfe

Mrs. Judy B. Nolfe - of Satsuma, AL, a sweet, gentle and loving wife, mother, Meme, sister, aunt and friend, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She retired from Saraland Elementary School in 2006, after serving as bookkeeper for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jim Nolfe, and by her parents, AC and Rene Barton. She is survived by her three sons, Tony (Kim), Tory (Bridgette), and Tracy (Heme) Nolfe. She was a loving and devoted “Meme” to six grandchildren, Sydney, Zach, Anna Claire, Ethan, Reagan and Reece. She is also survived by her brothers, John (Sharelle) Barton and Gary (Cindy) Barton, as well as brothers-in-law, David (Harriett) Nolfe, Sammy (Phyllis) Nolfe, and sisters-in-law, Mary (Scott) Wesson and Lynn (Paul) Meredith, with many well loved nieces and nephews, as well as her life-long best friend, “Aunt” Sheila Carpenter. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the Chickasabogue Bass Masters to support the Jim Nolfe Memorial Young Anglers Bass Master Tournament, c/o Jake Bush, 500 Vaughn Drive S, Satsuma, AL 36572, 251-591-7466.Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, March 23, 2012. The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 2pm from the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
