Karen Schmidt Daw

Karen Schmidt Daw, age 56, a native of Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Satsuma, Alabama died on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was a member of Destination Church. Mrs. Daw was preceded in death by her son, Michael Sims. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Connie Eugene Daw; children, Karen Teresa “Terri” Sims (Eric) McPherson, Suzy Sims (Jason) Lawrence, Elizabeth Sims (Richard) Boone, Jacob “Jake” Chester Sims, Justin Eugene Daw, Melissa Daw (Matt) Quiggle; brother, Randall Logan (Betty) Schmidt; sister, Debbie Schmidt; fourteen grandchildren, Olivia Quiggle, Tyler Woods, Tommy Woods, Brad McPherson, Mason McPherson, Tyler Lawrence, Libby Lawrence, Maddie Allgood, Wesley Allgood, Laken Boone, Landon Boone, Lucas Boone, Layne Boone and Braxton Daw. Graveside services and interment will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Satsuma Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 12 noon until 1:30 PM. Pallbearers will be Larry Daw, Ronnie Daw, Mike White, Jason Lawrence, Tyler Lawrence and Eric McPherson. In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to a charity of your choice.
