Karen “Kay” Mosley Stanton, a 72 year old resident of Mobile, Alabama went to her heavenly home on Monday, August 12, 2024. What a joyous reunion she is having with her parents, Wallace and Inez Mosley, and other precious family members and friends.
She is survived by her children, Tiffany (Perry) Slater, Tyler (Jack) Odom, Tim (Jennifer) Stanton; grandchildren, Rebecca (Tim) Holden, Jimmie (Jennifer) Copeland, Kameron and Keira Nelson; great- grandchildren, T. J. , Truette, MaryBeth, Hannah-Kay, Jimmie, Karter, Zyzyn, and Zaylynn; sister, Marti (Jess) Langley, nephew, Jason Langley; niece, Jennifer (Joey) Hale; great-nieces and nephews: Elisabeth (John-Chaney) Hajek, Emily and Jacob Hale and Logan Langley.
Kay was affectionately called MeMe by her grandchildren, and she loved them all to the moon and back. Her greatest joy was cooking for her family and celebrating all holidays. Her Christmas dinner always included everyone’s favorite dish.
Ms. Stanton retired from Spring Hill College as the Director of Purchasing after more than 20 years of service. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles while having her morning cup of coffee. Autumn was her favorite time of year and she was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. She never missed a chance to say ROLL TIDE, win or lose.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
