Katie Lee Evans Hammac – A native of Charity Chapel, AL and a lifelong resident of Mobile, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, at her home. Katie was a member of Bread of Life Church. She loved to bowl and her passion was yard sales, she could never pass one up! Katie was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Wheeler Reed; her husband, Charles A. Evans; an infant daughter; one sister and one brother. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Hammac; six daughters, “Yankee”, Felina, Regina, Cindy, Charlene, and Melissa; six sisters; one brother; eleven grandchildren, including one grandson and one granddaughter serving in Iraq; nine great-grandchildren, Trey, C.J., Marcus, Man-Man, Lil C, Chancey Lee, Sarah, Kaden, and Lil Man; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from Mt. Moriah Baptist Church on Monday, July 25, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday, July 24, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Interment will be in Mt.
