Kevin Wayne Bryant 67, was born June 16, 1954 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Joseph Malcolm and Leona Mozelle Clarke Bryant. He was called to his Heavenly home on July 13, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. Kevin served this grateful nation by enlisting in the United States ARMY for a period of eight years. In 1973 he was listed as soldier of the month and had his photo taken with Mrs. World. He was a District Manager for a number of years over the Bonanza/Ponderosa Restaurant chains and eventually branched out, owning his own franchised location.
Upon retirement from the restaurant industry Kevin became an A.P.I. 570 Inspector with Pro-Spect with the oil and gas industry. He loved bass fishing and entering tournaments with his buddy Randy. Kevin enjoyed hunting and was a diehard Alabama Football fan. He dabbled as a gun smith and was a perfectionist with anything he touched. Kevin always took great pride in everything he did. He was a member of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church where he would worship his God and love his church family. Kevin was a loving father to his children. He was a devoted husband, devoted sibling and a wonderful friend to all who knew him. Kevin will be remembered for having the biggest heart of anyone, (a heart of gold), always putting others needs before his own.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother; Johnnie Malcolm Bryant.
Left to cherish Kevin’s memories will be his beloved wife of ten years; Claudia "Becky" Rebecca Bryant, four children: Rachel Bryant, Megan Bryant, Christopher Freeman, Shannon Stokes and husband Dwight, five siblings: Janice Hudson, Kathy Howle, Joe Bryant and wife Tambra, Anita Railey and husband Ron, Chuck Bryant, six grandchildren: Alana Cromley, Zachery Stokes and wife Casey, Jacob Stokes, Noah Stokes, Lizzy Freeman, Josh Freeman, one great-grandchild; Paisley Stokes, along with many extended family members and numerous great friends.
Honoring Kevin as pallbearers will be Brent Richardson, Conner Mills, Mike Presnall, Jacob Stokes, Zachery Stokes and Noah Stokes. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Sikes and Jim Williams.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 19, 2021 in the sanctuary of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church, 401 Shelton Beach Road, Saraland, Alabama 36571 with Bro. Gary Shockley officiating under the direction of Radney Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM, Monday, July 19, 2021 on the grounds of Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, Alabama 36577.
The family will be welcoming guests for visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church.
