Lamar entered into full retirement from Barry Steam Plant to do the things he enjoyed. He loved his furbaby, Bella with all his heart and she will miss her Sunday drive with her daddy. He always enjoyed buying, restoring and collecting antiques. He really enjoyed spending time drinking coffee with his Steele Creek friends, 'yardsale-ing' every weekend, building bird houses, and gardening. He truly was a man with many talents. He excelled at helping others, whether it was with pumps, sprinklers, lawn mowers, woodworking, cars, and many other things. To call him generous would be an understatement. He helped many people in many different ways. His family misses him greatly, but rejoices that he is reunited with his son, Wesley and many family members, including his 2 brothers, Whitted Mosley and William Thomas. He has no pain, and will never have any problems hearing again.
Lamar is now waiting for his wife of 49 years, Harriett; along with their two daughters; Melissa Green of Pensacola, FL, and Marsha (Keith) Marks of Axis, AL; 2 grandchildren, Margery and Mitchell Daw to join him on the Streets of Gold, as well as his 2 surviving sisters; Willie Marie Yelverton, and Joan Bankston and his many "special" friends that he thought of as family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Women's Club of Satsuma to benefit Union Chapel.
