Larry C. Goodwin

Larry C. Goodwin – born April 5, 1946, departed this life on April 18, 2023, for Glory. Larry retired after many years of service at Springhill Medical Center Maintenance Department. Larry loved his family and friends. He enjoyed helping others. Larry said his greatest joy in life was his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Charlotte “Lottie” Goodwin and Edward Ernest Goodwin, and five brothers, Edward Goodwin, Grady Goodwin, Ronnie Goodwin, Aubrey “Al” Goodwin, and Darryl Goodwin. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan C. Goodwin, whom he cherished and adored; four children, Lisa Bryant (Jerry), Donnie Lollar, Ray Lollar, and Will Goodwin (April); 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, two sisters, and lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
