Margie Louise Watson Lynd

Mrs. Margie Louise Lynd, of Eight Mile, AL, entered into rest Sunday, February 28, 2016, at her home. She was 88. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Pastor Derrall Marshall will officiate.

She was a member of Shadow Lawn Baptist Church and the Kushla Garden Club. Mrs. Lynd was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben Ezekiel Watson and Maude Harrison Watson, her husband, Sidney J. Lynd, Jr., and two grandchildren, Tracey Lynd and “Little” Danny Lynd.

She is survived by her five children, David Lloyd (Elizabeth “Dink”) Lynd, Daniel Sidney Lynd, Darrell Wayne Lynd , Phyllis Jean (Wayne) White, and Peggy Lynd Miller, 11 grandchildren, Casey Lynd, Darren (Jean) Lynd, Dannette LeMasters, Karen Lynd, Kim (Bradley) Newburn, D.W. (Misty) Lynd, Billy Joe (Michelle) Roberson, Robert “Robbie” (Terri) Roberson, Phillip Roberson, Harris Hagood, Anna Lynd Hagood, and Mary Clare Hagood. Numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include: Anna Lynd Hagood, Mary Clare Hagood, Kim Newburn, Misty Lynd, Karen Lynd, and Kayla Beck.
