Mrs. Mary Lambert Parnell, a native of Monroe County, and a long-time resident of Semmes, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at the age of 89. Mrs. Parnell was preceded by her husband, Auburn W. Parnell, and her son Charles Gerald Parnell. She is survived by one son, Landis (Joyce) Parnell of Chelsea, AL, and her daughter-in-law Marie Parnell of Mobile. She is survived by four grandchildren, Katrina (Wade) Smitherman of Helena, Brian (Cheryl) Parnell of Robertsdale, Cara (Clay) McCoy of San Jose, California, Dr. Brent (Merritt) Parnell of Augusta, Georgia, and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday May 14, 2012 at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland from 10 to 11:30a.m. with a graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Saraland at 12 noon.
