Raymond Glenn McCrary Jr.

Raymond Glenn McCrary, Jr. – was born January 6, 1959 and passed away peacefully on March 27, 2014. He was 55. He was born into the loving family to Ray and DeLois McCrary. He was the only son among three sisters. Known to all who loved him as Ray Boy. He grew up in Eight Mile most of his life until he moved to Wilmer. He was a valued employee of MAWSS for over 30 years where he touched the lives of so many. He grew up in Myers Memorial Baptist Church where he learned to love the Lord and others. He later attended Shadowlawn Baptist Church and was a member of College Park Baptist Church. Ray Boy loved Alabama football, Saints, and Braves baseball. He loved his family and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Haley Suzanne McCrary and his mother, DeLois Dossett McCrary. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Donna Leach McCrary of 29 years; two children, Maggie Rae McCrary and Blake C. McCrary; father, Raymond McCrary, Sr.; three sisters, Janet (Steve) Biggs, Becky (Gary) Middleton and LeAnn (Robbie) Jackson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends who loved him. Funeral services will be Monday, March 31, 2014, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Sunday night from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
