Robert Walter Hiatt, Jr. passed away the morning of May 26, 2017 at the age of 53. "Bob" or "Bobby" was born in Clovis, New Mexico on December 18, 1963. He was an Army Veteran that served his county for ten years during Operation Desert Storm. He was oriented and believed that family always came first. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Robert Walter Hiatt, Sr. and survived by his mother, Carolyn Vaughan Hiatt, two sisters, Edith Foster (Daryl), and Melissa Wilkins (Nathan). He is also survived by three children Wayne Lampe (Stephanie), Alaina Williams and Robert "Trey" Walter Hiatt, III (Amber), ten grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at Radney Funeral Home -Saraland on Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm. Chapel services will begin at 12:30 pm and graveside services to follow at 2:30 pm at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL.
