Mrs. Ruby Joyce Wilson Pope, age 79, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Gary Lee Pope. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Silas Joe Pope, children, Jo Ann Bell (Roy), Kaye Agler (Jack), Don Pope (Patsy), Benny Pope (Stacy) and Lynne Pearce (Lowell). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren , great-grandchildren, nieces , nephews and other family. Mrs. Pope was a member of Nicholsville Church of God. Her family will remember her as an avid reader, loved to crochet and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL.
