Samuel Francis Isaiah Gilley Sr.

Mr. Gilley was the owner – operator of Gilley Brothers Wrecking. He loved fishing, music and dancing. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a friend, mentor and caring man to many to look up to.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Gilley; parents, Ivory James and Lizzie Iola Enfinger Gilley; siblings, Chester Gilley, SeaBoy Gilley, Inell Gilley, Joe Gilley, Ernie Gilley and Susie Gilley.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Diane (Ricky) Plant, Sam “BoBo” Gilley and Pam (Johnny) Colvin; 21 grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Magdalene Tillman; also, survived by other relatives, family and friends.

Visitation for Samuel will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to service time.

Interment will be at Wolf Ridge Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama.
