Slater G. Causey, Jr. – A native of Mississippi and a resident of Saraland, AL died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Joyce Causey. Survivors include his daughter, Gina Vanrijs; and two grandchildren, Brandon Causey and Aaden Vanrijs. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 1, 2011, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
