Terecia Jane Higgins

Terecia “Janie” Higgins, age 72, a longtime resident of Satsuma, AL went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by mother, Emmie Kilpatrick; father, Robert E. Galloway; and sister, Mae Hartley. She is survived by her husband, Paul Higgins; beloved pet, Nikki; two daughters, Wanda Rester (Johnny) of Semmes, AL and Janie Carol Lambert of Baker, FL; one son, Darrell Ellison of Axis, AL; one sister, Lavenia Keller of Memphis, TN; a devoted aunt and uncle, Eunice and Norville Brewer of Saraland, AL; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Howell (Marty), Justin Lambert (Ashley), April Worley (Robert), Joseph Lambert (Katie), Tina Eubanks (Bobby), Jessica Harris (Michael), Jason Ellison (Charita); fifteen great-grandchildren, Morgan, Caitlin, Austin, Elijah, Aiden, Darcy, Destiny, Tyler, Brittany, Kaitlyn, Bobby, Cameren, Jazmyn, Marisa and Austin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special heart felt thank you to Creola Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers are Johnny Rester, Justin Lambert, Joseph Lambert, Jason Ellison, Marty Howell, Robert Worley and Artie Swinney, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Brown, Joseph Enzor, Jarrett Lyndall and John Grimes.
