Veda Lee Harrison

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 49 years; Benjamin L. Harrison.

Veda is survived by her children Brenda (Merrill) Morris of Mobile, Alabama, Bennie W. Harrison of Gulfport, Mississippi, Paulette (Daniel) Johnson of Tyler, Texas, Marcia (Jimmy) Manasco of Mobile, Alabama, LaDon Harrison of Moorpark, California. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Michael (Carmen) Morris, David Morris, Jimmy (Amye) Manasco Jr., Ian Harrison, Monica (Ben) Wheeler, Nathan (Mariana) Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, 8 great-grandchildren: Joshua Morris, Koby Morris, Henry Wheeler, Simon Wheeler, Lucas Wheeler, Miles Johnson, Morgan Johnson, Max Johnson, and many precious friends.

Veda was a faithful lifelong member of her church for over 75 years. She has watched it grow from Prichard Assembly of God to Lakeview Assembly of God and now known as Fountain of Life Church in Saraland, Alabama.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Fountain of Life Church, 1277 Jubilee Drive, Saraland, Alabama. Immediately following will be interment on the grounds of Pine Crest Memorial Park, Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Michael Morris, David Morris, Jimmy Manasco Jr., Joshua Morris, Jimmy Manasco Sr., Merrill Morris, Daniel Johnson, and Henry Maughon. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Johnson, Ben Wheeler and Ian Harrison.
