Virginia Lee “Jenny” Loper – age 84, a native of Memphis, TN and a longtime resident of Eight Mile, AL passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at home surrounded by her children. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pansy Lee Priest Webb; father, Theodore Ellis Miller; and husband, Vander M. Loper. Survivors include four sons, J.B. (Carol) Loper, Vander Louis (Margaret) Loper, Henry Wayne Loper and Victor Lynn Loper, all of Eight Mile, AL; one daughter, Belinda Loper Gee of Semmes, AL; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
