
Willard Ray Black, Sr. – of Satsuma, AL, born and raised in Kemper County, MS passed away on October 24, 2011. Mr. Black was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Alabama Power Company after 39 ½ years of service. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. Mr. Black was preceded in death by his parents, John and Virgie Black. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Black; daughter, Terrie (Keith) Presnall; son, Willard Ray (Noell) Black, Jr.; three grandchildren, Zach Presnall, Maegan and Charlotte Black; nine brothers and sisters, Mary Ann (Travis) Lowe, William Black, Edward (Joyce) Black, Roma Jean (Charles) Little, Lou (Willie) Lowe, Judy (Paul) Wilcox, Patsy (Wayne) Ivy, Johnny (Darlene) Black and Danny (Donna) Black; sister-in-law, Linda Black; and nineteen nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, October 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Randy Little, Dale Little, DeWayne Lowe, Kenneth Ellison, Benji Black, Jason Lowe and D.J. Anderson. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Hecker and Dr. Ellis with Mobile Diagnostic Medical Center and to the NICU Staff with Mobile Infirmary.
