William "Clayton" Smith - A native of Mobile, AL and resident of Eight Mile, AL died Saturday, November 5, 2011 in a local hospital. He retired from Kimberly Clark in 2003 with over 30 years of service and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Bayard Taylor "B.T." Smith; brother, Richard Curtis "Radar" Smith; and sister, Catherine Annette Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Lynn Smith; three children, Deanna Marie Long, Clayton Taylor Smith and Joshua David Smith; mother, Lora Dwan Everett Smith; four siblings, Charles Vernon Smith, Pattie Smith Baldwin, Mary Ann Boyles and Shannon Taylor Smith; five grandchildren, Brooklyn Taylor and Autumn Elise Long, Emma Grace, Jaycee Lynn and River Tate Smith; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 10, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
