

Alma was born in Tazewell TN., in 1925, moving to Florida in 1960, settling in Sarasota.
She is predeceased by her parents Tilman Cox and Lucy Cox; sister Ima Duncan (Ed) and brother Jimmy Cox.
Alma is survived by her loving husband of fifty years William “Bill” Dickens; son Jerry Standifer (Mary); sisters Hazel Summers, and Vivian Taylor (Ralph); sister in law Fran Cox; brother in law Clyde Dickens (Karen). She leaves two grandchildren, Leslie Blaine Roscoe, and C. Jeff Blaine; and three great grandchildren Derek Turner, Stephanie Turner, and Sophia Blaine.
Alma was a member of the First Baptists Church of Palmetto.
Services will be held at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL. Visitation will be Friday May 30 from 5PM to 7PM. Graveside Funeral Service will be Saturday May 31 at 11AM at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park. A Gathering of family and friends will follow the service.
