Ann Waller

Ann (Iwanciwski) Waller of Sarasota, Florida passed away peacefully in a hospice house on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the age of 78. Ann is survived by her daughter Lisa Shea of Sutton MA with partner Bob See and daughter Jennifer Mottram of Satellite Beach FL with partner Mike Stevens. Her grandchildren are James Shea with wife Amanda, Artem Waller with husband Peter, Dale Mottram, Kate Mottram with husband Colin, and Bill Mottram. Ann also has three great-grandchildren - Liam, Rory, and Max.

Born to Ukrainian parents in Augsburg, Germany after WWII, Ann came to the US at a young age. She was always proud of her Ukrainian heritage. Over the years she lived in several homes in Maryland and Connecticut before retiring and relocating to Florida.

Ann was a witty, intelligent woman who loved to write and volunteer. In addition to her work as a Director of Communications at insurance companies in Hartford, Ann volunteered with the International Association of Business Communicators, the Reading Aloud Mentoring Program, and the Sarasota Opera Guild.

Ann adored cruising and traveling, especially to Italy which she visited numerous times. She loved the opera as well as ballet, theater, and other arts. She enjoyed dancing, eating out, sipping martinis at a piano bar, cooking, and hosting events.
