Barbara Ann Manning, born in 1947 in Jamestown, NY to Charles and Alice Wheeler, passed away in Wimauma, Fla in the early morning hours of April 17th due to injuries sustained in a traffic accident when a youth ran a red light, striking her vehicle directly on the driver's side door. Barbara is survived by her four sons and families; David, Benjamin and Dawn, Brian and Christine, Robert jr (Bobby) and Kyle, and her grandchildren Meadow and Skyler.
She was passionate about her family and pets, putting all her energy in to her new puppy, Nora, with daily training sessions and trips to local dog parks. She was returning home from her favorite dog park with Nora when the accident occurred. Nora survived the accident with some injuries. Barbara was also active in her local community at Valencia Lakes, Florida where she was enamored by the people and supportive culture she found there. Our thanks go out to them for their love and support during this troublesome period. Barbara will be sorely missed and her love will forever be held in the hearts of those she touched through her wit, empathy, and openness about her ideals.
In lieu of a memorial service the family asks that a donation be made in her memory to your local ASPCA to help take care of abused, lost, or abandoned animals.
