

He was born on March 12th, 1938 in Cane River, North Carolina. Mr. Warrick was the son of Floyd Lane Warrick and Zora Shelton Warrick of North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carole Locklair Warrick and their three children, Lisa W. Chambliss (John), Robert Harrison Warrick (Sara), and Melinda W. Schnell (Christopher). Bill’s life was blessed with five granddaughters, Rachel Deaderick, Rebekah Benson, Harper Warrick, Olivia Schnell, and Adelaide Schnell. In addition, two great grandsons, Thomas and Joseph Deaderick.
He had six siblings; Laura Alene Warrick(deceased), Judith Wanell Rogers(deceased), Henry Darrell Warrick(deceased), Donald Ray Warrick(deceased), James Vance Warrick and Cora Dyane Googe.
Mr. Warrick graduated from Bowman High School (NC) in 1956 and served in the US Air Force from 1956-1960. He was the owner and operator of Warrick Business Machines in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
He was an avid bowler and a gifted poet, enjoyed antique cars, swimming and gardening. He had a passion for the Old West, and game nights with his family. He was a long-standing member of First Baptist Church of Sarasota, where he served as a Deacon, an Assistant Lead Usher and was active in his Life-Group. Funeral services will be held on September 18th, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Sarasota, 1661 Main St., Sarasota. The burial will follow at the Sarasota National Cemetery for family members only.
