Cary Arthur Mitchel passed away on December 14,2021 at the age of 62. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite his pain, Cary remained devoted to his family.
Cary was born to James F. and Jane (Colnon) Mitchel on October 12,1959 in Chicago, IL. He graduated from New Trier High School in Winnetka, IL and Loyola University in Chicago, majoring in Communications. Cary married his wife, Michelle, in January 1997 in Chicago, IL. Together they had four children, Ethan, Quinn, Brooke, and Lindsey.
After graduating from Loyola University, Cary started his Advertising Sales career at Futures Magazine. He held many sales roles over the years, including time with mechanical contracting firms, Midwesco Services and Exelon Services in Chicago. Cary also had his Real Estate Broker license in both Illinois and Florida. Cary loved being with his family, decorating his home for every holiday and spending time at the beach.
Cary is survived by his wife and children. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private family service was held on Christmas Eve, his favorite holiday.
