“Charlie” (84) passed away, May10th, 2014, from esophageal cancer. Beloved husband & father and bagpiper extraordinaire Born in Wilkinsburg, Pa. moved to Sarasota, Fl. 1964 and Sun City Center, 2004. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Ann, sons Ian and Donald (Cheryl), daughter Sine (Alan) five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Brother Gerald (Pat) and Sister Evelyn (Stanley) Cwikla
Charlie was P/M of Sarasota Highlander Pipes & Drums, founding member of St. Andrews Society of Sarasota, The Caledonian Club of Sarasota and The Sarasota Scottish Highland Games.
Memorial services and burial will be June 6th 2014 at 11am at Sarasota National Cemetery
