Charlie Robert Cole, 82, Sarasota, formerly of Laurelton, N.Y. died January 29, 2012.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home. Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eugenie; son, Kevin of Queens, N.Y.; daughters, Leslie of Brentwood, N.Y., Barbara Jean of Chicago, IL; brother, John of Bronx, N.Y.; sister, Donnie of Bronx, N.Y.; grandchildren, Kantrell Betancourt, Laurel and Brandi Cole.
Charlie was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict.
