

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Colleen Janet Kelleher, who left this world on May 23, 2025, at the age of 65. Colleen was a devoted sister, aunt, partner, and friend, remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for those around her.
Born on December 10, 1959, in New Haven, Connecticut, Colleen built a life filled with compassion, adventure, and generosity. She worked as a dedicated travel agent, helping others explore the world, and spent time working and volunteering in the mental health industry, offering her support and care to those in need. Her presence brought comfort, and her wisdom guided many throughout her life.
Colleen was preceded in death by her father, Franklin W. Kelleher; her mother, Claire I. Kelleher; and her stepmother, Barbara V. Kelleher. She is survived by her loving partner, Howard Grant; her devoted siblings Kathleen Kelleher, Kevin Kelleher and his wife Deborah Kelleher, Denise Colucci, Nancy Sweeney and Daniel Kelleher and his wife Rachel Kelleher; her stepbrother's Derek Smith and his wife Manuaella Smith, and Christopher Smith. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews: Brendan Gilrein, Kerrin Gilrein, Jennifer Jordan, Robert Colucci, Michael Colucci, Jake Sweeney, Audrey Kelleher, Jenna Sweeney, Franklin Kelleher, Grace Kelleher, Brady Smith, Hope Kelleher, and Pearl Kelleher. Her impact will continue to be felt in the lives she touched, the memories she created, and the kindness she shared.
A service to honor and celebrate Colleen’s life will be held at a later date on Cape Cod. The family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Colleen’s memory.
Though she is no longer with us, Colleen’s love, laughter, and spirit will forever remain in the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.
