Diana Louise Kaplan

Diana L. Kaplan (Diana L. Webb) of Sarasota, FL passed away on Oct. 1, 2017. She was born in Cleveland, and lived in Parma, Ohio. She graduated from Parma Senior High School in 1962. Diana worked as a secretary, and then married Richard K. Kaplan on January 28, 1967. Richard and Diana had two children, Kristina and Kari. In 1973, the family moved from Ohio to Duxbury, MA. She enjoyed her life in Duxbury, and the many friendships she made. In 1984, the Kaplan family moved to Sarasota, FL. Richard and Diana loved Sarasota, the weather, and their friends.

Diana was a loving and loyal wife, mother, and friend. She loved her home, which she kept and decorated to perfection! She cherished the time with her family and friends. Diana also loved animals and the beauty of her plants and yard. She will be greatly missed as the matriarch of her street.

Diana is survived by her daughter, Kristina L. Kaplan of Sarasota, FL, her cousins, David Canaris and Lynn Canaris Goff and her husband John Goff and their daughter Kacie Goff, all of Land O' Lakes, FL, as well as her nieces and nephews, Robert Webb, Richard Webb, Cheryl Lambert, and Cindy Webb-Gray.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time for Diana, her daughter Kari, and her mother Dorothy. Arrangements were handled by Palms-Robarts Funeral Home & Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Humane Society of Manatee County or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
